The Punjab Police have arrested six persons in connection with the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala in Rajasthan’s Jawaharke village on Sunday.

Three vehicles confiscated by police yesterday, including a Grey Scorpio, a Corolla, and a Bolero, were found to have bogus registration plates, according to the police. Meanwhile, all six suspects are being questioned by the SIT. According to sources, they have ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which was discovered during a police probe.

Investigators are also looking for six people who were apprehended during the shooting on Sidhu Moose Wala. CCTV footage from Sidhu MooseWala’s residence, as well as the length of Jawahar Ke village and Barnala road, was reviewed during the same occurrence.

Officials are also looking into the cellphone data dump that has been active on the crime site since yesterday evening as part of the SIT probe. According to the Punjab Police, Sidhu Moose Wala, an influential Congress leader and Punjabi singer, was killed by inter-gang rivalry.

The shootout may have been sparked by a fight between Lawrence and Lucky Patiyal, according to investigators. Goldy Brar and Lawrence’s younger brother, Anmol Bishnoi, have been named as key players in the assassination of Sidhu Moose Wala.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s group has already claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Mooswala, alleging it was in vengeance for the death of Vicky Midhukhera.

To guarantee that the murder case was investigated effectively and quickly, Police Inspector General (IGP) Bathinda Range Pardeep Yadav formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the direct supervision of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Punjab Police Director General (DGP) VK Bhawra.

Sunny, Anil Lath, and Bholu, all residents of Haryana, have been detained and are being questioned by Punjab Police in Delhi. The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested three people as part of its probe into Vicky Midhukhera’s murder.

Shaganpreet was a third individual named in the FIR about Vicky’s murder, in addition to Sidhu Moose Wala’s manager. Shaganpreet is currently being sought by Australian authorities for attempting to flee to Australia.

His Relationship with Siddhu Moosewala

Vikramjit Singh Middukhera, 33, a prominent Youth Akali Dal leader dubbed Vicky Middukhera, was shot and killed in 2021. Moosewala is said to have ordered Shagunpreet Singh to carry out the killing. With the help of the Kaushal gang, Singh allegedly plotted the murder of Middukhera.

Singh fled to another country after his name was revealed in the investigation earlier this year. Members of the Kaushal-Bambhia-Lucky Padial gang Anil Kumar, alias Latch, Sajjan Singh, alias Bholu, and Ajay Kumar, alias Sunny, were detained as part of the investigation. They were later apprehended by Punjab Police.

According to the police, Bhuppi Rana and Amit Dagar were the ones who gave the order to kill Middukhera.
