About Sarguja University :-
On September 2nd, 2008, Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam No. 18 of 2008 created and incorporated Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya, Surguja Ambikapur (Formerly Sarguja Vishwavidyalaya). The entire Sarguja Division, made up of five revenue districts, is included in the University’s territorial jurisdiction. This consists of Balrampur, Korea, Surguja, Jashpur, and Surajpur.
