The Supreme Court case seeks to postpone the NEET PG 2022 examination due to a number of issues, the most serious of which is the NEET PG 2021 counseling. Petitioner sought an injunction against an announcement of the NEET PG-2022 examination scheduled for May 21 by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences and a deferral of the test date. The petition was turned down.

It stated that some of the petitioners and aspirants have appeared in NEET-PG 2021 and are currently participating in the ongoing counseling process, which probably won’t be completed by May 9, 2022, given the roller-coaster ride has been on since July 2021.
