The KVS has removed the age restriction for admission to Class 11 if a student applies in the year after passing the Class 10 test.

For class 12, a similar statement can be made because there are no upper or lower age requirements for entrance as long as the student has continued to study after finishing class 11. SC seats make up 15% of total seats, ST seats make up 7.5 percent, and OBC-NCL seats make up 27% of total seats.

Children with disabilities may be granted an age relaxation of up to two years by the head of the relevant school to accommodate their unique needs and abilities. According to the KVS admission norms for 2022-23, a total of 15 percent of seats are allocated for students from Scheduled Castes (SC), and a total of 7.5 percent of seats are reserved for students from Scheduled Tribes (ST) (ST). Students from Other Backward Classes non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) are entitled to 27 percent of available seats.
