About Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya:-

Bhagat Phool Singh Bhagat Phool Singh Bhagat Phool The Government of Haryana founded Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, popularly known as Bhagat Phool Singh Women’s University, in August 2006 at Village Khanpur Kalan, District Sonipat, as the first wholly women’s only State University in Northern India. The University’s mission is to provide high-quality, affordable higher education to women, particularly those from rural areas. A state university was established by an act of the Haryana legislature and recognized by the UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956 to establish and incorporate a women university (teaching-cum-affiliating university) at Khanpur Kalan to facilitate and promote women in the field of higher education, with a special focus on emerging areas of Information Technology.
