BARC Nurse Syllabus 2022 | Latest Exam Pattern: The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has just made an announcement and invited qualified applicants to apply online for a variety of positions. BARC Nurse Exam :

The Written Exam for the Various Posts will soon be held by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Candidates who applied for these positions are currently awaiting the dates of the exams. Many candidates are looking for and requesting information regarding the exam dates from various sources. Selection Process :

For the Post Code DR/01

  1. Stage 1- Preliminary Test
  2. Stage 2 – Advanced Test
  3. Stage 3 – Skills Test:

For the DR/02, DR/03,DR/04 and DR/06

Performance in the personal interview will be the primary criterion for selection. If the number of responses is higher, the Research Center has the right to limit the number of applicants who will be contacted for interviews by conducting a screening exam on all qualified applicants. The judgement will be final and enforceable.

For the Post Code DR/05

Post-Wise Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

For Post Code DR/01

The selection process will consist of tests in 3 stages Stage

1- Preliminary Test:

Screening examinations to be held to shortlist candidates. The screening examinations will be in the following format.

  • The examination will consist of 50 multi-choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of one-hour duration in the following proportion:
    • a. Mathematics – 20 questions
    • b. Science – 20 questions
    • c. General awareness – 10 questions
  • ‘3’ marks will be awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Candidates scoring <40% in General Category will be screened out. For reserved categories, the lowest cut-off will not be fixed below 30%.

Stage 2 – Advanced Test:

All candidates Screened in Stage 1 will be allowed to undertake Stage 2 (Advanced Test) in their respective trade.

  1. The two-hour test will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions with four possible responses.
  2. For each accurate response, “3” marks will be given, and “1” marks will be subtracted.
  3. Following Stage 2, a merit list of candidates will be created using solely the results of Stage 2.
  4. Candidates with a general category score of less than 30% will be eliminated. The lowest cut-off will not be set below 20% for reserved categories.

Stage 3 – Skills Test:

  1. Candidates will be shortlisted for Stage 3 based on the Merit List created after Stage 2. (Skills Test).
  2. The number of applicants chosen for the skills test will depend on how many applicants passed Stage 2, but it will not be more than 4-5 times the number of openings in each trade.
  3. The Go/No-Go method will be used for the skills test. Based on their performance in Stage 2, candidates who pass the skills test will be chosen for further consideration and appointed in order of merit.

For Post Code DR/02, DR/03,DR/04 and DR/06

For Post Code DR/05

The selection process will consist of tests in 3 stages

Stage 1: The applicants who fulfill the requirements will be called for assessment of Physical Standards as per Table-1 below. Those who meet the Physical Standards will be required to undergo Physical Assessment Test.

Stage 2 – Preliminary Test: Short listed candidates clearing Stage-1 will be allowed to appear for written test of 50 multiple choice questions (choice of four answers) of one hour duration in the following proportion:

a. Mathematics – 20 questions
b. Science – 20 questions
c. General awareness – 10 questions

Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Note: Candidates scoring <40% in General Category will be screened out. For reserved candidates the lowest cut-off will not be fixed below 30%.

Stage 3 – Advanced Test:

1. Short listed candidates clearing Stage-2 (Preliminary test) will be eligible for Advanced Test comprising 50 multiple choice questions in their respective trades. Test will be of 2 hour duration.

2. 50 multiple choice questions (choice of four answers) with 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

3. Candidates scoring <30% in General Category will be screened out. For reserved candidates the lowest cut-off will not be fixed below 20%. Final merit list will be prepared based on marks scored in Stage-3.


PHYSICAL STANDARDS FOR FIRE SERVICE POSTS (DR/05)

PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT TEST (DR/05)
